Study Abroad

It is a routine matter to arrange Study Abroad programmes (1 or 2 semesters) for German students from tertiary institutions. We are happy to do that for you. If you plan to spend two semesters in Australia, we will also indicate to you at the same time if we think that you could instead complete a bachelor or master degree for approximately the same costs.

Bachelor and Master Degrees:

Since 2000 Prof. Keedy has successfully been arranging for German students to study in Australia. The vast majority of these students have decided to complete a bachelor or master degree, and up to the present time every student has been awarded the degree which he chose.

The reason for this success is not that Australian degrees are easy to obtain. On the contrary students must work harder at Australian universities then they typically do in German universities! Our 100% success rate is explained by the fact that we provide realistic advice from the beginning, based on the experience of Prof. Keedy.

Bachelor Degrees:

So far we have succeeded in having a German Vordiplom recognised as 2 years of a bachelor degree in the following areas:

  • Computer Science (for the Bachelor of Computer Science and for the Bachelor of Information Technology)
  • Computer Science (FH) with a fourth semester (for the Bachelor of Information Technology)
  • Multimedia (for the Bachelor of Multimedia Systems and for the Bachelor of Information Technology)
  • Mathematics (for the Bachelor of Science)
  • Information Technology (for the Bachelor of Digital Systems)
  • Psychology (for the Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology))

Bachelor Equivalence:

Bachelor equivalence (as prerequisite for bachelor with honours or master) has been achieved for the Vordiplom plus two further semesters in the areas

  • Computer Science
  • Multimedia
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Economic mathematics
  • Business studies.

Bachelor with Honours:

We have succeeded in placing students who have then successfully completed the

  • Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons)
  • Bachelor of Science (Hons)
  • Bachelor of Information Technology (Hons)

in two semesters.

Master Degrees:

We have also succeeded in placing students who have then successfully completed the

  • Master of Information Technology
  • Master of Business Systems
  • Master of Commerce

in two semesters.

Extending the Offer:

In the near future we also expect to have students with completed degrees as

  • Master of Business Administration
  • Master of Engineering Sciences.

We are continually trying to extend our offering. For example we are interested in placing students in areas such as

  • Architecture
  • Humanities and Social Sciences
  • Sea research
  • Pharmacy
  • Sport
